Hey, I'm Katie,

Hi, I’m Katie — certified nutrition coach and the creator of GLP1 Girlies, a supportive space for women navigating GLP-1 medications, weight loss, PCOS, and autoimmune healing.

My journey here wasn’t easy — and that’s exactly why I built this space.

As a child, I struggled with weight gain, digestive issues, food sensitivities, and emotional eating. In my teens, I began trying every diet, hoping something would “fix” me. But it wasn’t until I started nourishing my body with real, living foods — and listening to my soul — that I finally felt like I was healing.

Then, at 18, everything changed. I suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and the progress I had made vanished. I developed autoimmune conditions, PCOS, chronic migraines, and became prediabetic. Doctors couldn’t give me the answers I needed. So I began to find them myself.

Through years of self-led healing and study, I discovered a more holistic path:

One that included GLP-1 medications, insulin resistance management, nervous system support, nutrition, and soul work. Slowly, I started to feel like me again — and I knew I had to help other women do the same.

Today, I bring together science and soul to help women:

  • Use GLP-1 meds safely and effectively
  • Transition off when they’re ready — without losing progress
  • Heal the root causes of weight gain like blood sugar imbalances, trauma, and hormone chaos
  • And feel strong, empowered, and supported in their bodies again

I’m a Certified Nutrition Coach trained in emotional and spiritual healing with over 60 hours of Soul-Led Training. I also studied The Science of Wellbeing through Yale University, blending behavioral psychology with real-life tools for change.
